Hi Kimberly, here! Welcome to Treehouse Garden. I am a teacher by trade and a gardener at heart. I believe there is tremendous value, both economically and mentally, in growing a backyard garden. I started to garden because at one point in my life I was going through a hard time, and somehow being outside, listening to the birds, getting my hands dirty in the soil, and growing beautiful harvests helped heal me inside and out. There is such joy watching something you planted by seed grow into something beautiful and nutritious. I believe in pursuing a sustainable life where less is more. I hope to encourage you to slow down, start a garden, big or small, and enjoy Mother Nature’s gifts. It is my greatest joy to share organic gardening ideas, ways to preserve your garden bounty, and healthy garden-to-table recipes.
